The Bharat Yatra is an independent travel-planning website focused on India’s culture, heritage and pilgrimage destinations. Explore places, build a route in the free planner and read our longer free city guides. Our aim is to provide a clear, practical starting point for planning.
We prepare destination information using tourism departments, district administrations and official venue or Trust sources. Unless a guide explicitly identifies a personal experience, read it as desk research and editorial planning advice. We do not claim to have personally visited every destination.
Free reading and paid planning
The public travel guides are free to read. A ₹99 Basic guide is a short PDF about one selected place. The ₹299 custom service adapts a 1–3 day itinerary for one city and its surroundings to the needs you provide. These fees do not include transport, hotels, food or entry tickets.
UPI verification and email delivery are manual. Sending a request or transaction reference does not confirm receipt of payment. Before paying, confirm scope, availability, delivery timing and applicable cancellation or refund terms.
Using the information
Tickets, opening hours, access and fares can change. Guide budgets are illustrative planning estimates. Religious beliefs are identified as traditions. We do not claim a complete destination directory or a statistical visitor ranking. Images labelled symbolic should not be treated as documentary photographs of a real venue.
